Margot Robbie for I, Tonya
Margot Robbie is a busy lady these days filming the upcoming Mary Queen of Scots movie and promoting I, Tonya a film based on the events of the 1994 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.
I don’t know how many premieres the film is going to have after premiering at the Toronto Film Festival, but I hope the film will have a big promo tour because I miss Margot on the red carpet.
For the first premiere I picked a light pink Prabal Gurung Resort 2018 dress. I took away the ruffles of the original look that made it too stuffy and fussy for Margot. The on trend millennial pink dress features dainty spaghetti straps and buttons adorning the slit and the neckline of the dress making it less sugary sweet. A pair of complementary Alexandre Birdman sandals, some Messika and Anita Ko jewery, a soft makeup look and a low bun would complete this beautiful end of summer look.
This look is the complete opposite of the previous one, but Margot showed at TIFF that she can do soft, pretty and ladylike as well as she can do edgy, hard and sexy. This Versace Spring 2018 Menswear Collection dress definitely fits the bill for the latter. I modified the runway look slightly by closing up a tiny split that there was in the skirt and taking away some of the crown embroidery. A pair of Oscar Tiye sandals, some Lynn Ban jewelry, tousled waves and an intense makeup look would make for a distinct look from the actress.
