Janelle Monae manages to be one of the most unpredictable people on the red carpet. After being one of the major players of awards season I don’t know if she’ll attend the TCAs on Sunday. If she were to attend them, I’d love to see her in this ruffled sequined black and white Balmain mini dress. In order to inject small doses of color in this look, I’d love to see her carry a Sarah’s Bag Rainbow Pill clutch and wear some Ana Khouri and Ileana Makri jewelry. In order to not overcook the look she should keep it simple on the hair and makeup front and wear a simple pair of black Paul Andrew sandals.
Bella Thorne’s style, I’m just going to say it, has been all over the place this past year. Given her style direction, or lack thereof, I picked these Ashish seperates. The top is from the Spring 2017 collection and the skirt from the Fall 2017 collection and they both are dressy enough for the TCAs with a lot of street style elements that should feel right at home for Bella. To creat some separation from the top and the skirt, I’d like to see Bella in a corset belt and in terms of footwear, I’ve been seeing these Vans slip ons everywear and I think they’d look really cool with the outfit. Layered chokers and little hoops, tousled waves and a red lip are all Bella would need to make an impression on Sunday.
I don’t know if Cara will keep up the appearances for Valerian or if she will attend the TCAs but I for one would love to see her there. This Mugler Resort 2018 ensemble would be a nice continuation of the Valerian promo tour, with the shoulder pads and graphic design and the dress over pants combo is in part inspired by Cara’s Alexander Wang look. Cara’s pixie leaves a lot of room to play with edgier looks so I think that this would be perfect on her. Styled with a pair of silver Saint Laurent pumps and Repossi jewelry this feels very on brand for Cara.
Ruby Rose is so cool and her style is so distinctive. This Off-White ensemble consisting of a black lace t-shirt, a floral peplum corset top and black jeans, when paired with Nicholas Kirkwood sandals and Repossi and Lynn Ban jewelry looks so effortless and like something Ruby would put together herself. Her expertly tousled pixie and a soft smokey eye are the only other two things needed here to complete the look.
